QUOTED FROM Balitang America, by Steve Angeles, ABS-CBN North America Bureau:Filipino American lawyer Rio Guerrero, head of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law Committee for the Asian-American Bar Association of New York said undocumented student applying for Obama’s deferred policy should be file their applications once, and file it right. “I think it’s important for them to carefully analyze their case whether they have an attorney representing them or a nonprofit organization because there may be an exception that they fall under for different types of relief. Visas or green card status,” said Guerrero. Guerrero warned with no appeals process, the $465 application, and the list of requirements, applicants should file once, and to file right.
