Partner Rio Guerrero received the “Best Lawyers Under 40″ national award from the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) at their Convention gala dinner on Saturday, November 17th.

NAPABA is the national association of Asian Pacific American (APA) attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students, providing a national network for its members and affiliates. NAPABA advocates for the legal needs and interests of the APA community and represents the interests of over 40,000 member attorneys and 64 affiliated APA bar associations, with practice settings ranging from large firms to small practices, corporations, legal services organizations, non-profit organizations, law schools, and governmental agencies.

The 2012 Best Lawyers Under 40 Awards were presented at NAPABA’s Anniversary Gala and Celebration Dinner on November 17, 2012. This award recognizes talented attorneys across the United States under the age of 40 who have achieved prominence and distinction in their respective fields. Rio was selected among distinguished attorneys nationwide who practice all different areas of law including, but not limited to, those engaged in private practice, government, and non-profit legal practice areas. All candidates demonstrated a strong sense of civic duty and public responsibility. Attorney Guerrero’s incomparable and long record of success representing corporate and individual clients involving U.S. immigration law, as well as selflessly contributing pro bono legal service to the Asian Pacific American community distinguished him among the national field.
